INTRODUCTION
The quest for truth guides an individual, a teacher (Guru) to look for new answers to tackle old problems and challenges. Years of schooling in the art of combat science gives the teacher the necessary knowledge to delve deep into his art /science and produce new answers. The teacher in this case, the researcher, must take each idea into the lab and test it to determine its validity. It is upon this pretext and to shed light onto the grey areas of combat and to demystify the art of the warrior, that the de-Bordes foundation of combat science was founded by His Warrior Highness Grand Master Richard Crabbe de-Bordes.

Combat perfection is the bed-rock of the above-named foundation. It is based on the marriage between the old and the new, jungle warfare and urban survival. An all round research center bridging ethics of the way of the warrior, modern self-defense or self-protection and close protection, security analysis, system design, electronic counter-measures, conflict resolution and threat management.

With over 40 years experience in martial arts and sciences (Korean, Japanese, Chinese) and Indonesian warfare in general and Sumatran in particular, years of instructing academies, elite police, law enforcement and special forces units, not forgetting years in close and presidential protection gives the de-Bordes Foundation a headstart.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
We normally look for a good 1st degree/1st degree black belt. However, we may consider non-traditional qualifications, prior learning and experience.

ASSESSMENT
These vary from course to course, but usually include the combination of course work and examination.

We have, therefore, developed a comprehensive program of opportunities to study and to have crush courses either at the head office facility in Accra, Ghana or at other branch facilities, including; Dallas Texas USA, Joplin, Missouri, Cleveland, Ohio,  Harrogate North Yorkshire UK,Birmingham England ,White Hart Lane London, UK .
